Day of Mindfulness: Practicing Happiness – 18th November 2023

Practicing happiness – meditations, reflections & sharing to create a deep sense of well-being.

Join us for a lovely day of meditations, reflections, and sharing, practicing to create a deep sense of well-being within. 

The day is suitable for all levels, including no previous experience of mindfulness or meditation. There will be a number of different mindfulness activities including guided meditations, silent sitting, walking, gentle movement, dharma readings, eating, inquiry and sharing.

Join us for this lovely day on Saturday, 18th of November 10:00-16:00 at the Kingston Quaker Centre. 

Tickets:
Standard: £20
Supporter: £25 (to support those who have less means to come)
Supported: £15 (concessions and those on low-income)

On the Day:

Please arrive from 09:30 for registration. We will begin the day at 10:00.

Wear something comfortable – we will be doing a little mindful movement and stretching. We sit on chairs but you are welcome to bring your own meditation cushion as well.

Please bring some vegetarian or vegan food to share for lunch if you feel comfortable sharing, otherwise bring your own lunch.

There will be an opportunity to donate to support the Kingston Mindfulness and Meditation Sangha during the day. The money raised will be used for ongoing costs of rental and provisions to benefit the Sangha such as books and candles.
